Coaching is a process that helps to move a person or family towards fulfillment. Coaching differs from therapy in that it focuses on the present and therapy often includes work on past issues and traumas. This is not to say that the past is not addressed at all because the past has formed our current belief systems and internal dialogues and these often need to be shifted to bring about effective change. My coaching method focuses on an action based model that is developed with the client to meet the individual's needs. The process is supportive and 100% confidential and I strive to provide a safe, non-judgemental environment for this very important, life changing work to be done. Coaching can be done either in person or by telephone depending on the client's preference and geographical location.

Individual Coaching
Stressed, depressed, struggling with work or family? Individual coaching helps you to pinpoint what the issues are that are holding you back and keeping you from reaching your full potential and true happiness. By creating a coaching agenda outlining your needs and goals, we create a tangible plan to make the changes you desire and to heal the wounds that hold you back.Couples Coaching
Relationships are complicated and even the best of them take work. Often couples fall into cycles and patterns that end up wearing eachother down and pushing the other away. We often have a breakdown in communication that causes feelings to be hurt and resentments to form. What ever the issue may be, it is often helpful to have third party to help us navigate the rough patches. Coaching can help you to identify the trouble spots in your relationship and devise a plan to get through them.Family Coaching
When children come into our lives, each day becomes infinately more beautiful and stressful. Often when parents are struggling the children are too. Family coaching can help to map out goals, rules and boundaries to create effective change through daily practice. If you are in a blended family, the circumstances often bring unique and complicated issues and struggles. When this happens the need for a clear plan regarding parenting styles, expectations, integration and boundaries, becomes even more essential. Coaching can help you to get clear on your desires, needs and goals for the family and how to achieve them.
Coaching can be ongoing or families can take advantage of a 1 Month Intensive.. The Intensive includes:
Week 1- Assessment of family dynamics and the needs of each individual. Development of coaching plan.
Week 2- Healing, letting go , and learning.
Week 3-Implementation of developed plan. Skill development and practice, practice, practice.
Week 4- Overview and future planning.
Monthly or Bi-monthly telephone check- ins are included fo 12 months at no additional cost. (Available for SF Bay Area Residents Only.)
Separation/Divorce
When going through a separation or divorce, life shifts rapidly often leaving us lost and overwhelmed. Coaching during this time can offer the individual a supportive place to sort through the feelings and changes and help in developing a plan of action to begin again.Co-Parenting
Co-parenting with an ex can be a monumental task at times and is often dramatically improved with coaching. I work not only to mediate objectively, but to help parents make a sustainable plan that will be beneficial for each person and the child/ren involved.

Workshops
I offer workshops several times a year on various parenting and relationship topics. I am also available for lectures at schools and for groups. Diversity Training for schools and institutions is available. I develop the content of each training with the specific needs of the client in mind.
